For

animenutcase, as an apology for overreacting a bit during that discussion about KHR 316.
Fandom: Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Characters: Tsuna, Enma, Adelheid, talking about Gokudera and Shitt P.
Gen, safe for work
word count: ~590
First time writing them, most likely rather faily.
The interactions of UMAs, as discussed by their bosses and Adelheid.
'Uh,' Tsuna said. 'What?'
'I,' Enma said, looking terribly uncomfortable, 'am supposed to tell your Storm Guardian that Shitt P. has gotten an eyebrow piercing that can conduct Swamp flames.'
'Uh,' Tsuna said, again. Then, far more pressing than making incomprehending noises, 'But why?'
'Hell if I know,' Enma said. 'She said something about Gokudera's earrings, but I don't know what that means. Do you? She's been weird about stuff of his lately.'
For a moment Tsuna just stared at him. Then, things – weird things, brainbreaking things, things that Gokudera did some time ago – suddenly fell into place. 'Does this, by any chance, have anything to do with Gokudera-kun's flaming sunglasses?'
Now it was Enma's turn to give him blank stares. Beside him, Adelheid scowled. 'I told you they were flirting!' she snapped.
'What?' Enma turned to her. 'I thought she said it had something to do with UMA communication.'
'Yeah, well, that's what she said. I don't know why I'm the only one with brains around here. I asked Hibari, but he just said the behaviour of herbivores had nothing to do with him!' Adelheid leveled a glare at the door, and Tsuna was vaguely surprised it didn't spontaneously combust from the sheer venom in it. 'And then that Sasagawa interrupted us and yelled something about it being an extreme expression of respect for a rival, but I don't buy that. You don't go shopping with a rival. And Yamamoto just laughed and said it was funny. It's not. It's ridiculous.'
Feeling awkward and definitely out of place, Tsuna raised his hand. 'I think I'm missing something. Can one of you please explain?'
He received a shrug from both Shimon members. 'What's there to explain?' Adelheid said. 'Shitt P. and your Storm Guardian seem to be trying to one-up each other in weirdness of flame-conducting items. It's all your fault, Vongola! Your guardian was wandering around with his pants on fire and –
'
'It's a belt, actually,' Tsuna tried correcting her, but she talked right over him.
' – and she thought it was a great idea and got someone to line her bra wiring with metal that could conduct flames and then your Storm started raving about alien communication and got flaming sunglasses so she set her shoelaces on fire and then – ' she took a deep breath ' – Gokudera put Storm flames in his earrings and Shitt P. went and pierced her eyebrows! Next time they'll probably take matching nipple piercings! Stop him!'
Tsuna withered under their combined glares. 'Uh. I'll...' He took a few cautionary steps backwards and, then, when Adelheid didn't whip out her fans, continued, 'I'll tell him, okay? I'll tell him to stop this... this, uh, competition.' Some more steps. 'So, I'll just...' Step step step door. 'I'll just go now seeyoubye!' He slammed the door behind him and raced away.
Later, when he gave the message to Gokudera, his self-proclaimed right hand man started (rather expectedly) raving about the new ways of UMA communication and why it should be embraced. Then he apologized to Tsuna for talking back to him and promised to find new ways to communicate with alien life forms. Tsuna just sighed and waved him out.
'I thought you said you'd talk to him!' Enma wailed on the side of the line, some days later.
'Uh,' Tsuna said, voice wavering. 'I did. Gokudera-kun said he'd, uh, 'find some other way to relay messages to that strange UMA'.'
'How are they 'relaying messages' by swapping clothes?!'
