I've sort of gotten the impression that when they're left to their own devices, sovani are really not into squishy feelings; they're haughty and violent and yeah, feral. The ones who seem the most well-adjusted are Torgal and Caedmon, who have both spent decades living and working with the rest of the sentient races and learned some civilization. (Wyngale...has sort of been living with the people of Baaluk, I guess? But it doesn't seem like the same thing, especially since it wasn't voluntary.) TL;DR sovani are fascinating. ^^;
