Writing porn is so difficult. Not that I, uh, am happy with the rest of the fic either: I'm still missing a large part in the middle and end, and it's for a series I don't even care about. Oh, well. Might as well at least start posting bits, in the hopes I get over this fear.
Series: La Corda d'Oro - manga-bases, since I try to ignore the fact that the anime and games exist but have at least a (admittedly really low) tolerance for the manga antics.
Pairings: one-sided Hihara Kazuki/Hino Kahoko, eventual Hihara Kazuki/Yunoki Azuma.
It doesn't have a title yet because I suck. Just a little bit of fic that isn't finished by a long shot. What I have at the moment is almost 4500 words of unpolished...stuff. These are not the 4500 words. It's the little bit I'm the happiest with.

‘Yes?’ Kahoko looked at him, curious and expectant, her hair a bright, beautiful red in the afternoon sun. ‘What did you want to say?’
Her smile was sweet and pretty, face illuminated by sunlight. The trees were autumn-red and he was suddenly struck by the image it made: red leaves and red hair and the red uniform tie all Gen Ed students wore.
He swallowed, heart thundering in his ears, and wondered if his face would be as red as he thought it was, fitting in with the image of Kahoko and the trees. He felt like he was falling, standing on the edge of an abyss and losing his footing.
‘It might make you feel better,’ Yunoki had said, ‘but what about her feelings?’
But not speaking up was what had got Yunoki in the situation he was in now, with his parents and grandmother pulling him one way and his teachers (read: Kanazawa) and friends (read: Kazuki) pushing the other. And still he kept quiet about what he himself wanted.
Kazuki had decided that he didn’t want to live like that. No regrets. So he took a deep breath, looked at Kahoko’s expectant smile, and told her.
